I just wrote a recommendation about this Independent trekking Mr Sanjib which was the one i chose to do Everest Base Camp and Gokyo, I went to Nepal in Feb-March 2014 and I would totally recommend them. Check it out and read below what i also wrote about them. Enjoy your time in Nepal :) http://www.nepalguideinfo.com sanjib-adhikari@hotmail.com I did Everest Base camp and Gokyo with the Independent trekking guide Mr. Sanjib and after such a nice trek I can only recommend the service that Sanjib and his team provided it. Experienced guide, a clear itinerary with lots of room for your own personal pace, a personalized approach: you go to him as a client and you leave as a friend. All this and more make the service of this trek, out of the rest. Prices are very good and the quality of all the services, were excellent. We got only great rooms and they always make sure, we have a nice view from our room (probably this is not always possible, but I like that Sanjib and Raj. were taking time in such a details to make his clients happy) He also advise you in all the matters of the trek and more importantly he was very clear about what you get. Many companies will promise you all kind of things even if they know is not possible (flying to Lukla for example is one of them or how many days you can reach certain altitude being safe from AMS) There’s a lot of companies in Kathmandu and I know how difficult and overwhelming the search for the right one can be, but if you’re reading this and looking for a person who can make your treks in Nepal smooth and a very enjoyable experience… go to Sanjib and he’ll handle the rest ☺ Thanks a lot Sanjib, for organizing my trek in Nepal and if I come back someday I definitely know where to go for treks!!

Trekking in Nepal…Family Adventure style
The towering Himalayas are, to many travellers’ minds, the chief reason for visiting

Nepal. The country tumbles steeply down from the 800km stretch of the Himalayan

battlements that forms its northern border, and can claim no fewer than eight of the

world’s ten highest peaks – including, of course, Everest, the highest of them all. The

mountains are more than just physically astonishing, however. The cultures of highland-

dwelling Nepalese peoples are rich and fascinating, and the relaxed, companionable spirit

of trekking life is an attraction in itself. The Himalayas have long exerted a powerful

spiritual pull, too. In Hindu mythology, the mountains are where gods go to contemplate,

while the Sherpas and other mountain peoples hold certain peaks to be the very embodiment

of deities.
Most visitors to mountain areas stick to a few well-established trekking routes. They have

good reasons for doing so: the classic trails of the Everest region with its famous trails

like Everest Base

camp trek
and the 3 high passes are both mind blowing ventures and highly popular in

the world. And Annapurna regions are so popular because they offer close-up views of the

very highest peaks; this includes Annapurna 1 & 2, fishtail peak and Ganesh Himal trek.

Famous treks like the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, Annapurna Base

camp trek
& the Annapurna Circuit trek are some of the most famous on earth. Dramatic

scenery and fascinating local cultures are most known in this area. Lodges on the main

trails – some as sophisticated as ski chalets, these days – make it possible to go without

carrying a lot of gear or learning Nepali, and without spending too much money, either.

While trekking, you’ll likely eat and sleep for $20–30 a day. For those who put a high

priority on getting away from it all, there are plenty of less-developed routes, of

course, and simply going out of season or taking a side-route off the main trail makes a

huge difference.
The Helambu and Langtang regions are less striking but conveniently close to Kathmandu,

attracting a little fewer than ten percent of trekkers. The Langtang valley

trek
& the Ganja-La pass are known trails in this area. This leaves vast areas of

eastern and far western Nepal relatively untrodden by visitors. To hike in these areas

you’ll need either to get set for camping and carry your own supplies, and live like a

local, or pay to join an organized trek with tents and accept the compromises that go

along with that.
With a good operator, you can anywhere in the wild. A Great Himalayan Trail now runs the

length of highland Nepal – though it will be for some time, if ever, before such a route

will be serviced by lodges.
Treks in remote far eastern and far western Nepal are mostly restricted to two kinds of

globe trotters, both adventurous in their own way. The majority come on organized camping

treks with agencies – in fact, this is obligatory for those areas that require a permit.

The minority are independent trekkers prepared either to carry tents and food or negotiate

with porters, or to seek food and lodging in local homes and basic lodges. Some great

camping outdoors include the Manaslu circuit Trek, Upper Mustang trek

the Dhaulagiri circuit, Rara lake trek and the great Kangchenjunga trek, both north and

south.

A day Itinerary:

We will pick you in the morning from Kathmandu hotel and take you to tribhuvan international airport by our representatives. We will take you to private transportation. After doing check in we will wait some time to clear the weather or open airport. As soon as the weather clear we will be getting inside the helicopter to get ready for the journey of helicopter to base camp. We will be flying through the bhaktapur city passing the world town and then crossing the nagarkot villages then to junbensi village. Seeing the Himalayas ranges and villages we will reach lukla village which is situated on 2800 m elevation. We have tenzing Hillary airport on this town and we will be landing on airport.

Lukla airport is also the fueling stations for lots of helicopter. The helicopters keep the fuel there and fuel it on the way back. We will also keep some fuel on lukla airport and ready to fly towards namche villages passing phakding, monjo, jhorsella and Hillary suspension bridges. On reaching namche you can see the stunning village on the hill which is the Sherpa capital called namche village. Just above namche there will see sangbochea airport. Big helicopter land there as transportation and some flights too.We will just pass that airport and reach Everest view hotel. We ill leave two people there, if we have 5 people in flights because helicopter does not carry full people on high elevation.

After leaving some people we will start fly through the tengbochea Monetary and pangbochea village. We will pass ferichea village then laubecha village. After that we will pass gorekshap and then helicopter land on kalapather hill which is around 5380 meters elevation. This hill is known as kalapather view point and its highest point is 5550 meters. This is the same view point which is climbed by Everest base camp trekkers to see Everest close. We will get out from helicopter to see the Everest and spend some time on kalapather. We will click some stunning pictures and videos here. After spend around half and hour we will fly towards EBC. Only very rare conditions helicopter land in base camp but most of the time it fly over the base camp. Due to wind and glaciers move its always high risk to land on base-camp so, most of the flights avoids landing on base camp to be safe. Like the same way this flight also fly near khambu ice fall and fly very close to the ground of base camp and fly back through khambu glacier. We can see some Everest trekkers and in climbing season we can see lots of tents and people on base camp that’s why during climbing season helicopter do not go close to base-camp because risk for tents and people on base camp.

Some people feel this trip expensive so they just do the other options such as Everest base camp trek, gokyo trek and other multi day’s trip. Magic Himalaya treks operate lots of trek and tours in Nepal including Annapurna trekkingsuch as annapurna base camp trek, Ghorepani poon hill trek,Mardi Himal base camp trek, annapurna circuit trek, Manaslu trekking and upper mustang trek are top in the list too.. Visit us on magic Himalaya treks web page to see more about Nepal. Visit us and support us for visit Nepal 2020.
