Fun and Games

Sep. 19, 2010 text and photos by Chad Lebo

It can't all be fun and games. But that's no reason there can't be some fun and games. Here are some recent additions to Akany to help with that very thing.

A slightly disturbing name, but one heck of a fun game: baby foot. This was donated by some exiting
ex-pats a few months back.
Just for the record, the tall pale kid put up a valiant effort but did suffer defeat in the end.
The ups and downs of life on the playground. A new seesaw made from old timber beams from the office's terrace refurbishment.
Walking tall. A few pairs of stilts were knocked together in the woodworking workshop and the kids took to them like  circus performers to water (or something like that).
The best long-legger of them all. She can run, do stairs, walk backwards and even jump.
