Akany is one big ever-changing family. About 120 children live on site in Ambohidratrimo. Akany's children are from 21 years of age all the way down to just a few days old. Akany also supports the education and other needs of about 25 children who have returned home, but still need some assistance. In a normal month, 3 or 4 new children arrive and several return home as well. Around 150 different children call Akany Avoko home in a year.

And all are loved.
