Online Reservation System for Guesthouse

Visitors are always welcome at Akany Avoko. Please come and see the children, enjoy a delicious meal in our cafe and find out about our many programs and projects. Our center is a busy place, so we do ask that you please make a reservation is possible. Drop-ins are welcome too though.
We are located about 15 km north of Antananarivo on RN4. The center can be reached from the city by car in 30-45 min and by taxi-be (any bus for Ambohidratrimo, Alakamisy or Mahitsy) in 60-90 min. See map below for more details. A taxi from the city will cost about 30,000 Ar.
Tours
- If possible, please call or email our Tourism Guide to arrange a tour
- Tours available in English, French and Malagasy
- Dance performances, other activities and even cooking classes may also be arranged if you call or email before the day of your visit
- Walking tours of our village including the market and the remains of the royal residence can also be arranged with our Tourism Coordinator for a recommended donation of 15,000 Ar. for groups of 5 or less and an additional 2,000 Ar for extra persons
- Our Tourism Coordinator can also arrange tours of other nearby children's centers and programs
- Please let us know how we can help you and we will do our best
- Open for lunch and supper everyday but a reservation is required
- Cafe serves Malagasy and French food prepared by the young women in our professional cooking program
- Meals include appetizer, main course, dessert, water and coffee or tea for 18,000 Ar. per person
- Main course only for 10,000 Ar. per person
- Snack and a hot beverage for 5,000, Ar. per person

Guesthouse
- CHECK AVAILABILITY BY MAKING AN ONLINE RESERVATION REQUEST
- We have a 2-bedroom guesthouse available for friends and visitors
- The house features a full kitchen, living room, a bathroom and solar-heated shower
- Meals are available as room-service or in the cafe next door
- Recommended donation of 25,000 Ariary per bedroom per night or 50,000 Ariary per night for the entire house

Airport
- We are only 10 minutes from the airport. We can arrange for pick-up and drop-off at the airport, for recommended donation of 30,000 Ar. for 5 or less passengers and 5,000 Ar. for each additional passenger (must be arranged at least 1 day prior to arrival or departure)
- We can also arrange a private taxi to pick you up or drop you off for about 20,000 Ar.
