Since 1986 UK registered charity “Money for Madagascar” has been supporting vulnerable people and protecting unique habitats in one of the World’s poorest countries. In celebration of our 25th Birthday we invite you to join us in a magical afternoon of Malagasy music and culture headlined by inspirational singer-songwriter Nogabe Randriaharimalala.
Relax and enjoy the rhythmic, mellow and unique sound of this fabulously agile guitarist and singer performing in one of London’s finest live music venues, the Union Chapel, Islington.
The concert is on Saturday 12th November 2011.
Book a full-day ticket and join us between 11am and 4.30pm to browse traditional Malagasy handcrafts and learn more about the work of MfM. Then enjoy a delicious Malagasy lunch followed by an afternoon of music from the Indian Ocean. Alternatively, book a concert-only ticket and join us between 2.30pm and 4.30pm to experience Nogabe’s spellbinding performance in a truly unique world-music venue.
