It's Begining to Look a Lot Christmas

The library temporally turned into a gift wrapping factory.

Christmas is about so much more than gifts. But for children, some of whom used to live from bowl of rice to bowl of rice, unwrapping a gift at Christmas can be a magical moment. And thanks to the generosity of wonderful and blessed donors, Akany Avoko's children will all get to enjoy such a magical moment.

However, before any unwrapping can begin, the wrapping must be finished. And thanks to these nimble-fingered workers, the wrapping is all...well, wrapped up. The big unwrapping will be this Sunday Dec. 12. Stay tuned next week for a post about the big event.

Shoes for all. Each child will be getting a new pair of dress shoes.
Shoes are great, but there will also be books, games, toys and bags to round out the giving.
